Mr. Metzgar serves as the corporation’s Chief Executive Officer and has been involved with building and site designs for over twenty years. His vast experience with a variety of corporate and private clients, lends a valuable resource to Cornerstone’s clientele.
Mr. Anderson serves as the Chief Operational Officer and a active Professional Engineering Manager as a Principal Partner of Cornerstone. Mr. Anderson is responsible for the coordination, management and design of numerous multi-faceted projects, inclusive of commercial, residential and industrial developments. John’s 20 years of Engineering experience with project design and permitting are essential to the development of our client’s projects. His areas of expertise specifically lie in procurement of zoning, land development and building permit approvals; hydrologic modeling studies; flood studies; wastewater conveyance and treatment designs, DOT design and permitting; DEP NPDES and conservation district designs and all other aspects of design as required by Cornerstone’s clients.
As a seasoned veteran of the design industry, Mr. Stein has been offering professional architectural services for over 40 years. Mr. Stein’s experiences offer the knowledge needed to serve Cornerstone’s diverse client base. Mr. Stein’s career in architecture has included multitudes of municipal and educational facility designs not to mention countless commercial and residential facilities.
Mr. Fruck handles the management of the Lehigh Valley Office’s civil engineering department, thus providing excellent account / project management, plan review, expert hearing testimony, and extensive project design for a variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Types of projects range from program work to large scale, planned, residential and commercial lifestyle and retail centers, and include all aspects of Zoning, site plan and layout design, grading, storm-water management and utility design and construction plan preparation.
Mr. Romich serves as a Professional Surveyor with years of field experience. He brings an energetic, and business oriented attitude to the profession. Steve’s role within the firm is to coordinate the survey teams for all offices to assure our clients are being served in a timely and efficient manner. His special attention to customer satisfaction and enjoyment of client interactions make him an essential part of the Cornerstone team.
Ms. Cunningham serves as an engineering project manager. Ms. Cunningham has brought a level of excellence through her skills in the preparation of residential, commercial and industrial projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. She has provided services including excellent project management support, plan review, hearing testimony, zoning, site design, grading, storm-water management and utility design. Ms. Cunningham’s attention to detail and design practices have contributed to Cornerstone’s continued growth, development and client base.
Mr. Brunkan serves as project management, civil engineering design, permitting and regulatory compliance in support of myriad development and re-development projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. His experience includes large and small scale commercial, residential and mixed-use development projects. Mr. Brunkan’s commitment to client’s goals in conjunction with his knowledge of all aspects of site development and design make him a valuable asset to any project team.
Currently serving as Sr. Design Engineer. Responsible for designing and drafting of land development plans, code analysis and all permitting processes regarding the project at hand. Additionally, responsible for maintaining timeframes as set forth by the engineer for the project at hand.
Mr. Borchelt serves as a Senior Designer with the Civil/ Land Development department having over 18 years of experience in commercial and residential design in the Mid-Atlantic region, New Mexico and Colorado. Dale’s responsibilities include developing cost effective design layout for residential subdivision and commercial developments in both rural and urban areas.
Mr. Ruzicka utilizes his background in landscape architecture to design and engineer commercial, residential, and public projects. His previous experiences as a landscape contractor and foreman provide him with a working knowledge of construction, landscape management, horticulture and arboriculture. As an associate member of the ASLA, he is committed to the sustainable design of communities.
Mr. Lalande serves as a civil design engineer preparing plans and reports. He works on site design, land development, zoning, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and permitting for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Mr. Peyros serves the management of the Cornerstone Consulting Mechanical Engineering Department, where he oversees all aspects of HVAC Engineering and Design, providing project management, plan review and extensive project design for a variety of commercial, residential and industrial projects. This includes new construction as well as renovation and expansion of existing facilities.
Mr. Shammas serves as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for Cornerstone with over 12 years of related experience in residential, retail and mega scale commercial & mixed used buildings’ design and construction. Nabeel’s key responsibilities is to interface with clients to establish design criteria, prepare the mechanical and plumbing systems design within client’s budget while complying with building codes, coordinate with architectural and structural designers for accurate construction documents, and provide consultancy during construction phase as needed.
Mr. Magee serves as a Professional Engineering Manager, in charge of the structural engineering department of the Lehigh Valley Office. Specific duties include structural building analysis and design using various construction materials and applicable codes for a wide range of educational, commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential projects. As Project Manager, he supervises client meetings, determines project feasibility; design, develop and implement projects; supervise designers, draftsmen and engineers, prepare construction drawings and specification for projects, coordinate projects with clients and perform construction administration.
Mr. Mamari serves as cornerstone’s electrical Engineer and offers over 10 years of experience in commercial and residential Electrical design.
Mr. Stress has been involved in Architectural and Engineering projects for over 35 years. He participates in every aspect of projects from initial site investigations, analysis of codes and site, prelim. Design, client meetings, construction documents and specifications, attends hearings, does permitting and grant writing. Then meetings, construction monitoring, and close out of projects. His experiences with projects are lengthy and diverse and have included Commercial projects including restaurants, stores and offices, Municipal building projects of all kinds, Parks projects, Emergency services projects, Health Care facilities, Industrial facilities, Institutional facilities, Residential facilities/homes and many Historic projects as well.
Mr. Haffner’s current position here at Cornerstone allows him to participate in design and development solutions for our building projects. A lot of my time is spent on drafting and developing these solutions. Many of these projects also require my time coordinating our architectural portion of the project with other design disciplines to assemble the total buildable package for the client or government/municipality review.
Mr. Solano has been involved in all phases of the design and construction process from the initial programing and conceptual stages of design though the successful completion of numerous projects. His project background includes a diverse selection of markets including residential, restaurant and hospitality, industrial, healthcare and institutional. His commitment to client satisfaction makes him a valuable member of the design team at Cornerstone Consulting.
Ms. Seyford brings 35 years of experience in architecture, education, inspection and building code work. She currently holds ACI, NECEPT and NICET III certifications and is an Autodesk Certified Professional.
Mr. Farmer has Over 25 year’s architectural drafting experience in both commercial and residential construction, with a preference for creating buildings that have a lasting aesthetic appeal and enhance the human experience.
Mr. Metzgar currently serves as land survey technician and special inspector with over twenty five years’ experience in topographic surveys, and mapping. And six years’ experience in architectural surveys, as-built surveys and special inspections.
Mr. Baker brings over 20 years’ experience in the design and construction industry. Having seen numerous projects through the complete construction process, from initial concept and design, document generation and coordination, to final reviews and site inspection. Mr. Baker has been involved in a diverse range of projects from assisted living facilities, Healthcare and Institutional offices, Commercial design, as well as Residential and Religious facilities. His knowledge of ADA and code requirements provides additional quality to project success.
Mr. Whitley has over ten years of experience as a Land Surveyor, is currently a Surveyor-in-Training (SIT), and will soon be seeking licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS). A certified Sewage Enforcement Officer (SEO), he has several years of experience in soil suitability testing and the design of on-lot sewage disposal systems. He serves as a Survey Party Chief in the Lehigh Valley Office. His specific duties include acquisition of field data and drafting survey plans using Computer Aided Drafting (CAD).
Mr. Alkhoury has over 13 years of experience as a Land Surveyor with utility infrastructure, landscape and construction layout, land development and lot surveys. He has a bachelor’s degree in Geological Science with years of field experience and a Safety Officer Certificate. He serves as a Survey Party Chief in the Lehigh Valley Office. His office duties are preparing the survey plans using AutoCAD. His field duties are collecting data for drafting the survey plans using Robotics Total Station and GPS RTK and VRS (Champion, Leica, and Trimble).
Currently serving as a Survey Party Chief in the Lehigh Valley office, Mr. Silfies has over 15 years of experience in civil engineering and surveying services. Over the 15 years Mr. Silfies has been involved in all areas of Land Development, Subdivisions, Lot Surveys, Flood Certifications, Municipal Services, Gas & Oil Services, Construction Layout, ADA Ramps, HOP Permits and 3D Scanning. Drafting and design experience using various versions of AUTOCAD. Experience with field data collection equipment using Trimble, Topcon and Spectra robotics or total stations and GPS RTK or VRS using Trimble or Champion units.
Mr. Deans serves as our lead 3D designer and graphics coordinator. He is responsible for creating aesthetic options for our design presentations. He prepares compelling photo realistic 3D renderings, photo composites, and animation for a wide range of our clients.
Mr. Ehrich’s knowledge consists of a construction background from his general contracting, cast-in place construction, & architectural glazing experience. With the knowledge he has acquired, and his Bachelors of Architecture, Mr. Ehrich strives to produce well thought out designs that are captivating and welcomes occupants.
Ms. Diefenderfer serves as our Human Resource and Payroll Manager. She is responsible for employee relations, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures as well as all aspects of financial transactions. Her degree in business management and commitment to complete discretion in all scenarios allows her to successfully manage the entire administrative staff.
Ms. Atkinson performs all aspects of accounts receivable. Additionally, her responsibilities include collecting on delinquent accounts and resolving any customer billing discrepancies. Her focused efforts and ability to multi-task have resulted in a strong decrease in uncollectible revenue.
Mrs. Amorim performs many administrative duties on a day to day basis. Cindy provides a high level of administrative assistance for our office staff and executives. Some of her duties are handling multi lined phone system, scanning, printing, faxing, filing, preparing correspondence and handling marketing material. Additionally, she handles making business travel arrangements and maintaining effective communication between clients.
